Hi, my name is Michelle Smith,
I'm the owner of Boji Baloo Munchkins. My Sister-in-Law
started me out with these little cuties. I live in the
Northwest corner of Iowa. We're a small cattery raising
loveable short leg kittens.
What is a Munchkin?
Well, it is a breed of cats, which make them have
short legs. All Munchkins litters can have either
short or long legs, this is due to the dominant
gene. A standard Munchkins have short legs. A
non-standard has long legs. A long legged Munchkin
is still registered as purebred Munchkins.
They are very adapted to running
jumping and climbing; they can do about anything that a
long legged cat can do but jumping can be a little more
difficult as their legs are shorter. This breed is
accepted by TICA, AACE and UFO.
